Why the 6 kW Size
The KIP 6 kW is rated for sauna cabins between 170 and 300 cubic feet — best for standard residential 2–4 person sauna cabins. Calculate your cabin volume as interior length × width × height. If the cabin includes a glass door or window, add roughly 25% to the calculated cubic footage to compensate for radiant heat loss. For smaller cabins under 170 cu ft pick the KIP 4.5 kW; for larger cabins up to 425 cu ft step up to the KIP 8 kW.
