The KIP 4.5 kW is rated for sauna cabins between 100 and 210 cubic feet — best for small, well-insulated residential saunas (1–2 person bench). Calculate your cabin volume as interior length × width × height. If the cabin includes a glass door or window, add roughly 25% to the calculated cubic footage to compensate for radiant heat loss. If your cabin is larger than 210 cu ft, step up to the KIP 6 kW or KIP 8 kW sibling product.
