Description

The foil faced radiant barrier (4’ × 125’ roll) is a critical component in proper sauna construction, serving as both a vapor barrier and a radiant heat reflector. Installed behind the interior sauna cladding, it helps prevent moisture migration into wall cavities while reflecting heat back into the sauna room, resulting in faster heat up times, improved heat retention, and more consistent temperatures.

Each roll provides approximately 500 square feet of coverage, making it suitable for sauna rooms up to 6’ × 8’, depending on wall and ceiling layout. By reducing heat loss and protecting surrounding framing from moisture exposure, this barrier contributes to the longevity, efficiency, and overall performance of the sauna.

The barrier features an impregnated fiberglass mesh that reinforces the material and allows for easy installation using staples or fasteners without tearing, ensuring a secure fit during installation.

For sauna rooms larger than 6’ × 8’, two or more rolls will be required to ensure full wall and ceiling coverage and proper overlap at seams.
